At MyNewSurface we believe that every surface tells a story, a story of craftsmanship, creativity, and the people who bring spaces to life.
We began as MyNewFloor, a flooring specialist, and grew into a full design and renovation studio for the Charlotte area, with more than 25 years in flooring, cabinetry, countertops, tile and wall cladding behind us.
Our mission is to simplify home improvement through design, quality and trust, so that renovating feels seamless and transparent instead of like juggling a list of contractors.

The timeline depends on the scope of work and material selections, but most kitchen remodels take 2–4 weeks from demolition to completion. Our in-house designers and project managers will provide a detailed schedule before we begin.
Yes. We offer a free design consultation with a complimentary preliminary estimate and 2D drawings so you can visualise your layout. Once selections are finalised, we provide a fixed-price proposal. Our in-house design team also creates 3D renderings and mood boards, and guides you in choosing cabinetry, countertops, flooring and fixtures.
Absolutely. Our showrooms in Charlotte and Lake Norman feature full-size displays and samples of cabinetry, countertops, flooring and more. You can see and feel each product before making your decision.
Our turnkey kitchen remodels include design, demolition, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, backsplash, plumbing, electrical, painting and appliance installation. We handle everything from start to finish so you do not have to juggle multiple contractors.
Costs vary based on size, scope and the finishes selected. On average, our kitchen remodels range from $30,000–$80,000, with luxury remodels exceeding $100,000. After your design consultation, we provide a detailed, itemised estimate.
Most bathroom remodels take between 2–3 weeks, depending on the project scope and material availability. Most projects range between $20,000 and $45,000, and luxury primary baths may exceed $60,000. We provide a detailed schedule and estimate before starting.
We install a wide range of premium countertop materials, including quartz, granite, quartzite, porcelain and Dekton. For outdoor work we use outdoor-rated materials such as Dekton, granite and porcelain, designed to withstand UV rays, temperature changes and moisture.
We provide manufacturer warranties on materials and a one-year workmanship warranty on installations for your peace of mind.
