Wide-plank engineered hardwood carried through the primary suite and the living space beyond it, laid to run with the length of the room.
The backsplash here is not tile. It is the same slab as the counter, run full height and book-matched across the wall, so the veining carries through the room instead of stopping at a grout line. Fabricating a wall panel this size is a templating job as much as a stone job, and it is the sort of detail our in-house designers specify early, because it has to be planned before the cabinetry is ordered.
Below it, a timber cabinetry run holds a sink, drawer storage, a wine refrigerator and an angled bottle store, with the arched built-in millwork elsewhere in the house detailed to match.
